The Sloan Paris House Foundation

Health, Safety, and Belonging

The Sloan–Paris House has always connected home, healing, and community. The Sloan Paris House Foundation believes everyone should have access to health—and to a sense of safety and belonging in the community where they live.

Carrying a legacy of care forward

SPHF is working toward becoming a licensed behavioral health organization so this historic place can continue the legacy of the physicians who lived and worked here. As this effort develops, our role is centered on community outreach, relationship-building, navigation, and strong referral partnerships, working alongside clinical providers.

Our planning includes Harrison, Crawford, and Washington Counties. We will grow carefully as resources and partnerships develop, working toward the licensing and organizational foundations needed to serve our community.

What we are building toward

  • Helping residents find behavioral-health and social-service resources close to home
  • Building county-by-county resource maps and dependable referral follow-up
  • Helping residents overcome practical barriers such as transportation and distance
  • Strengthening coordination among community, peer-support, social-service, and clinical partners
